The satirical song Gun Shop comments on the escalation of mass gun violence in the United States. Its message is that the proliferation of guns will only increase the number of shooting victims. The song does not advocate violence. It is an appeal to our nation to reexamine its obsession with guns.

The United States, by far, has more guns in civilian hands than any other advanced country in the world, and, not coincidentally, by far have the most shootings. More guns means more deaths.
